The President-elect of the United States is threatening to take over nearby countries. Ordinarily a big deal, but not now, because everyone understands that the President-elect is an empty-headed buffoon whose blatherings are not to be taken seriously. That is a big deal, though.

Last week I focused on addressing quirks in python-build-standalone and fixing the common pain points with uv-installed Pythons.
