What wld that have accomplished? Made him feel powerful? It's really difficult to not react. Good leadership whic is professional is an ability to remain detached in the midst of emotional chaos. Also I think is the ability to see the long game. That requires a sense of vision.

Professional. It is not about "feelings". He knows what he is doing. He doesn't operate from some emotions which are often unreliable. He is a pragmatic leader. We have forgotten what good leadership is. It is not slogans touchy Feely rants.
