Retail crime is a big issue in Southampton- rising by 43% last year. It's crushing for businesses & puts hardworking staff at risk. I've been campaigning with @usdawunion.bsky.social for change & we're pleased Labour's Crime and Policing Bill will put new measures in place to tackle this issue.

How times change - was amazed to watch 2 red kites over Millbrook/ Lordshill this afternoon , never seen them in this area yet here was a pair.

I've been proud to be an USDAW member under the current leadership, however change should always be positive and an opportunity for the better - I think it's time for a female GS to reflect the membership
