Retail crime is a big issue in Southampton- rising by 43% last year. It's crushing for businesses & puts hardworking staff at risk. I've been campaigning with @usdawunion.bsky.social for change & we're pleased Labour's Crime and Policing Bill will put new measures in place to tackle this issue.

I've been proud to be an USDAW member under the current leadership, however change should always be positive and an opportunity for the better - I think it's time for a female GS to reflect the membership

Happy birthday to the late Ewan MacColl, born #OTD in 1915 in Broughton.

His iconic song 'Dirty Old Town,' inspired by Salford's lost slums and chimneys, embodies a fight against inequality and a vision for a fairer society serving everyone—a message as relevant today as ever.

Dirty Old Town is a 7" single I still have ( Pogues version). And I still long for and believe we can have a fairer society

Well here's my first post on here - I've actually become social media tired, but unlike previous s-m posts I haven't gone political - here's a picture of CocoCat, who has insisted on sleeping on that bag for the last 3 months
