I had found a NSF-certified with a 8 in. coil & good reviews (bizarrely reviews change dependent of who’s logged in) & they approved it (was actually going to buy it today, but decided to search experts on here first)-do you think it’s est. brands or bust?

Don’t worry, they’re well into induction pots/pans! They initially suggested a wok version with a 9 in. coil that’s flat enough for flat pans too, but an electrician reviewed & said it wasn’t properly grounded (they wanted it still!). I’ve heard good things about IKEA, but small coil size nixed it.

Hey! How could someone check for this in layman’s terms? Would NSF accreditation mean anything (if it’s on Amazon, is it real or just marketing)? Somebody near & dear asked for a portable induction cooktop for the holidays & after seeing that happen in reviews for the NYT pick, what would you pick?

fyi there’s a le creuset clearance outlet in Maryland (Tanger) & to my knowledge they take phone orders/will tell you where to go for the best price for an item (TJMaxx & Home Goods for sales on stoneware — but it’s the cast iron (they make lightweight small sizes too!) that has a lifetime warranty)

Update on Novavax COVID vaccine availability from a New York Times reporter: they haven’t been shipped out yet but the supplier plans to ship next week.
I know I'm more than a day late on this, but for some reason it came across my feed now — I confirmed with Sanofi today that they haven't yet shipped the Novavax shot, so it isn't available anywhere. They plan to start shipping next week.
@boldandbodacious.bsky.social you had the same reaction as my (very smart & kind) bestie when I confusingly said the same thing! We need to convince them to put a sample {cookie} table right outside!
