Another thought - I listened to several of King's audiobooksand was hooked that way. Some of them are read so well.

Yeah, true, it might be for some, but I like it's length, not too long, and the complete messed up-ness. Also, the way King creates such a complete world out of seemingly nothing. It's masterful.

The Long Walk is a good start I think. Or Carrie or Misery. I love The Stand and think it holds up as one of the best stories of all time, but it is long. IT as well.

We had my Dad with alzheimers come and stay for Christmas and it was hard. I admire you so much for looking after your Mum as you do.

Also - isn't that a Principal's job? To listen to their community? I mean, bullying isn't the right way to go about it of course, but if an issue is important to the community, the principal probably should hear about it.
