Not sure who hooked whom, but love the fact that the lily (Lilium pardolinum) and the monkshood (Aconite columbianum) both just kept on going. Found on a hike in the Sierra Nevada in California on a glorious summer day.

Our bedroom window view from earlier this morning. The rising sun in the east, provided this layer of cloud colour. All the fire colours are in the sky, to complement the grey. No weeping…only joy at seeing nature’s finest.
