Donald Trump imposed a 10% tariff on a couple of Antarctic island volcanoes with a population of zero.

But no new tariffs on Russia.

He's that good at Presidenting.
Breaking now: Ministry of Economics reporting the tariffs have not caused significant changes to our trading volumes

George Forman had died.
Actually I’m sad about that.

I’m having a Trump free day listening to Johnnie Walkers entire juke box of 70’s hits. Positive memories for this sad day.

To sue for defamation, Liz Truss has to show "serious harm" (section 1 of the Defamation Act). The more you retweet this the easier it will be for her to show serious harm leaving her nowhere to hide when she doesn't.

You know what to do!

So it turns out they spent £715 million on sending a grand total of FOUR volunteers to Rwanda.

For comparison, this is more than you could expect to spend on building an entire brand new hospital in the UK
In July, I FOI'd the Home Office for the full breakdown of spending on the Rwanda scheme

I was refused because the government planned to publish the data in future, and today is the day. These numbers are in millions

Louise Haigh resigned as U.K. transport secretary and the Tories seized the moment to attack Labour with this statement:

“Louise Haigh has done the right thing in resigning. It is clear she has failed to behave to the standards expected of an MP."

Yup, after all of 👇 that was the Tory statement.

Eton has accrued £539 million in funds, but it's still going to up fees to £63,000 a year 'because of VAT'.

Meanwhile 36% of children in the UK are now living in poverty. The worst level since records began.

Things will never get better while we allow people to profit from making them worse.

It is that simple.

One reason that James Dyson is so angry could be that he bought 36,000 acres of British farmland with a view to saving roughly £100 million in inheritance tax. Curiously The Times’ news article fails to mention this. 🤔
