As much a shame as it is that Reger’s String Quartets are so rarely recorded, I think we’re very lucky to have a recording as good as that of the Drolc Quartet’s. As far as Reger’s Quartets go, their recording is as good as you can get. It’s a genuinely great recording of the whole cycle.
