After watching Jason Mantzoukas break out a lock-picking set in a Taskmaster task, I started getting ads in my algorithm. I bit, bought a lock-picking set, and have now picked the only lock I own three times, and a practice lock twice. A fun new couch hobby has been found.

You gotta love working in just the end of the bsc because all your sample plates have to dry (0.5ml of sample spread on each plate takes a long time). #microbiology #science

I bet it still will serve as a good reference. It says simple or martial with light. The staff still lets you know that simple weapons without the light property work.

Last night I got to host a table about environmental field microscopy at a local high school’s community STEM and Discovery Night. There were evidently over a hundred exhibitors involved and I still felt like people were interested and engaged when they came to my table. #ScienceOutreach

Today I built this DIY field microscope using some readily available resources (the magnifying lens’s is the focal lens from laser pointer).
