As the economy continues to contract, I expect that approval rating to tank.

Right now, I feel like it’s being artificially propped up by the media largely refusing to hold the administration’s feet to the fire.

He’s already underwater on every issue, so 40% makes no sense.

It’s not about the drugs and it’s certainly not about saving American lives. If Trump REALLY wanted to save American lives, he wouldn’t deprive 20Million Americans of their health insurance. More Americans die from lack of insurance than drugs. Numbers don’t lie, but he does.

Given Pete’s ego, that actually seems likely.

But can you imagine being a 4 star general and being lectured on the Warrior ethos by a Fox News host? Barf.

Because a large chunk of them cares more about access than actually doing their jobs.

There’s another No Kings protest in October - it needs to massive.

I’d probably start with violating due process and sending people to out of country prisons.

Using the military for domestic law enforcement is another good one.

He’s also making a shit ton of money off of being POTUS.

Thinking…protests don’t seem to be working so far. And his new position making opposing people a terrorist organization will unleash more insanity after he orders attacks/arrests on the protesters calling them Antifa. There has to be a better way.

He’s trying to start a war.

I do think the DNC has to stop treating new progressives like the plague, yes.

But there has to be a give and take there, too - Progressives have to understand that they can’t just badmouth ‘normie’ Dems at will.

We’re all on the same side and need to act like it.

Elections aren’t run by the federal government. Trump has no way to cancel them.

He could try, but a handful of red states would be the only ones that complied. Blue states would tell him to get fucked.

You have to understand the hesitancy, too - particularly after the Free Palestine movement (including members of the Squad) spent months bashing Biden and dividing the Democratic Party over Israel and Gaza.

The only people who are buying it are the ones who are trying to help Trump change the narrative, and I suspect most of them know it’s bullshit too.
