Stuff, and other nonsense.
Trump questioned Denmark's claim to Greenland due to it being "very far away" from the country.

Copenhagen to Nuuk = 2175 miles.
Hawaii to Guam = 3790 miles.

By the same argument, maybe the Philippines will be interested in annexing Guam then.

2.5% GDP by 2027 is a step in the right direction for the UK, and it was welcome to hear the government plans to increase further to 3% GDP in next Parliament. Incrementally, 2030-32 would be a good timeframe to achieve that.

Ideally 3.5%GDP by 2035, depending on economic conditions.

Former Conservative Defence Secretary, Sir Ben Wallace, talking a lot of sense in this piece with @sophyridge.bsky.social.

He's right that you couldn't just give the MoD a huge increase in budget overnight, but a planned increment to 3%GDP by 2030 would be optimal.

How can the secret intelligence services share information with their US counterparts if they can't trust the President to keep his mouth shut?!
I forgot how insane it is with Trump as President. He just listens to intelligence briefings & spews the detail out on mic.

He’s just explicitly named Turkey as being behind the revolution in #Syria.

On opposition forces: “Nobody knows who the other side is. But I do! You know who it is? Turkey!”

So Kemi Badenoch stood on the stage of a 'Robin Hood' pantomime to announce her fondness for a tax scheme that would massively benefit the rich at the expense of the poorer? Does she not have minders with ironyometers?

Can't believe what we're seeing occur in South Korea, a country rightly proud of its democracy. It appears to be a military coup, led by the President. This cannot and must not stand.

Right now, my thoughts are with the people of South Korea.
#SouthKorea 🇰🇷: Korean military forces are taking up positions in the National Assembly building in #Seoul, following the declaration of martial law by president Yoon.

Scenes like this would be unthinkable in a healthy democracy like ROK, yet this is what we are watching.

The issue I see with petitions.parliament.uk is that a signatory only needs to provide a name, email address and postcode.

The site should utilise OS AddressBase data, cross-referenced against Electoral and DWP data, to ensure name of signatory matches to an address.
