I think we also need to accept that most of our problems with these kinds of technologies are problems of capitalism, and no amount of posting at game devs of all people will sort out that problem

there's this like middle ground of 'artisanal' indie games, where you buy the video game and still treat it as art to analyze and interpret and cherish but even then can you HONESTLY tell if a game was made with genai or not? is it a handmade game or made to look rustic with some tool or machine?
