Watching Japanese TV is always a trip, as news and talk shows still use these beautifully made physical prop boards with sliding panels to reveal different things. I wonder if studios have in house print shops!

If we didn't know you were going to be terrible from your ridiculous overstuffed bio and AI profile pic, your comment makes it clear.

You are the dictionary definition of a terminally online keyboard warrior. Stay out of it.

You know you're in trouble when you're using a bottle opener on a can!

That sounds like a mess! I feel like in Toronto they *try* to brine the streets ahead of an expected snowfall and freeze up, but results vary. You definitely see the dried brine on clear bikeways, which I think does minimal damage. Worse are the clumps of granular salt you occasional run into!

Fair, I see that. I was wondering about the gendered part which I've always thought was a bigger part of the JAP stereotype than wealth (though that also came out of an upbringing that assumed all Jews were upper-middle class, as that was my surroundings)

What in that column led you to JAP-hate? I don't want to make assumptions, but I don't see it. The denigration of anti-Mamdani NY Jews as "posh?"

Most people have two wheels, and really need the salt to prevent black ice and such. Salt is hard on bike parts but falling on ice can be deadly! I reckon even on a trike this could happen on a skid or if you get hit by a larger sliding vehicle...

You mean Charlattans UK? ;) (I'm guessing that was a BushX type situation)

Yeah it's cute though I always have to chuckle 😂

Yes I see it now too. I have an older Mac that can't go past iOS 10.15. So I think that's the issue, not any particular apps!

It's 4 above today so hopefully it will melt/evaporate. That whole section which is hilly and has multiple tight chicanes and those plastic ramp platforms, is a very poorly cleared area. Doesn't help that the neighbourhood is very anti-bike as well. Still we ride!

It will probably melt before anything is done. I am more concerned to get it on their radar for future drainage improvements!

I believe this is known as long drop

My man, what in God's green earth are you talking about.
