1) Joe Nathan, Papelbon, and K-Rod are statistically nearly identical, yet two fell off the ballot immediately. If we induct K-Rod, we ignore the others. It’s illogical.

The highlighted years? Mediocre. He was maybe the best pitcher in baseball once
Johan was the best at least 3 times. Kluber twice. Lee once or twice. Felix’s stretch includes several seasons where he maybe isn’t top 10

1) The fan in me dislikes this trade: I think Andres Gimenez is a star, he's a fan favorite, and a very good player. It hurts when teams trade away players like Gimmy and he's been a big part of our team the past 3 years

The first of my HOF articles. This one on Todd Helton. I think one underrated part of why he had to wait so long is home runs. Basically every first baseman now is a slugger and while Helton was a great hitter: homers weren’t his game
