Jones: 434 HR, 111 OPS+, 10 GG. Edmonds: 393 HR, 132 OPS+, 8 GG. Jones is likely getting in. Edmonds fell off in Year 1. The gap doesn't exist.

We already have the tools to judge modern pitchers properly.

Jay Jaffe’s Adjusted JAWS and "Black Ink" scores tell us who dominated their era. We don't need to invent new rules to justify a weak ballot.

We also need to stop pretending "300 Wins" was the only way to get in.

Koufax, Drysdale, and Roy Halladay all got in with fewer than 210 wins. How?

Dominance. They had "Black Ink"—leading their leagues in ERA, K’s, and Innings. That is the standard we should stick to.
