What a disingenuous response from the dispatch box. The country didn't like the Alternative Vote proposal. Full PR wasn't on the ballot. Moreover, that was 12-13 years ago.
Labour came to power with a huge amount of political goodwill after that Tory gov't and they're just frittering it away.

For those who don’t remember, Google’s original 2004 motto was “Don’t be evil.” During the first Trump term in 2018, it removed its long-obsolete motto from the preface of its code of conduct.
