These MLA recall campaigns are a pretty signal that a growing number of Albertans are unhappy with the UCP and want to do something about it. This should be a big wake up to the opposition NDP that it’s time to start nominating candidates who can try to harness some of this volunteer power.

Danielle Smith has just admitted on Real Talk w/ Ryan Jespersen that she is NOT a separatist, saying "yes" to @LukaszukAB's referendum question, "Do you agree that Alberta should remain within Canada?"

How will her separatist base react?

What do you call a government that doesn't care about the courts, that tramples over human rights, while facing serious allegations of corruption?

I'm sure there's a word for this.

A pretty startling claim, to be sure.

I commute across the city almost daily, and I can attest to how prevalent the signs are. I've also personally seen multiple complaints of people finding Better Edmonton signs on their property w/o consent.

The signs are everywhere.
#ableg #abpoli #cdnpoli
Tim Cartmell and Better Edmonton are cheating.

They're intentionally breaking election signage rules, and they're happy to use their large corporate donations to make any fines go away.

They believe in a city where rules do not apply to the rich and powerful

The AB gov’t appealed the injunction against trans health care bans, but is now bypassing its opportunity to argue the reasonableness of *all* its anti-trans laws via the notwithstanding clause. This reveals a lack of confidence in its claim that it is “protecting” trans and gender diverse youth.
For the first time in Alberta history, Danielle Smith will use the notwithstanding clause preemptively to shield her bills targeting vulnerable trans children from legal scrutiny.

Her actions are simply cruel and wrong.
