I don’t want to be negative but I’ll say that on first listen, I get why they wanted to make this album but as a fan, I didn’t need it. Art exists for itself so who cares what I think. I just feel like Dave’s absence is the overarching theme. Not just in what is said, but in that it’s flat w/o him.
