When I heard about the Senate caving, I cried, literally. I am still working at 67 and Medicare + Supplemental is 20% of my SS. I believe I will lose my Supplemental because my surgery last summer was in excess of $75K.

June Lockhart has passed at 100 yrs of age. She was America's matriarch in the 50's and 60's, at least she was for me. She was so much more if you read about her life. She will be missed.

Why should I worry? I live in a rural town that is above the fray. For now. What is happening in our beloved country is not acceptable and in my opinion is illegal and unconstitutional. I have to care and I have to fight. Because it is not about me, it is about you and us. I have to believe in that.

I know it is hard to keep up with what is currently going on. But can someone explain to me the current grift of Trump RX? That can not be a real thing. Unless it is, which makes me sick, in more ways than one.

There is no link between Tylenol and autism. What is the sub text? The grift of what will help autistic people. Leucovorin. Who does that benefit? It is Dr. Oz, the king of medical grifts and flim flam.

Here is what I am beginning to despise. . .that Trump is the leader of the "Free World" while his administration systematically takes away our freedoms and makes enemies out of our allies. He is just the president of our failing democracy while the world mocks us.

There is no place in our country for political violence. None. Full stop. I did not agree with Charlie Kirk's world view but he had every right to say whatever he wanted. I can also say that I do not have to venerate his life or his views just because of the way he died. I do not. And I won't.

This past week I have heard from family and friends getting passports. Just in case. I understand. I wholeheartedly want them to be safe. For now, I need to stay and fight for our dying democracy. There is no option, I can't capitulate.

About the SAVE act If the Senate passes this, I, as a registered voter since I was 18, would not be able to vote ever again. Why? Because I have no passport. Because my name on my Birth Certificate would not match my current name. Because I have been divorced. This is a poll tax against women.

Can we stop calling these atrocities "deportations." These people sold to El Salvadorian prisons were not deported. Deportation is a process that did not take place. They were rounded up and removed with no process. They were kidnapped, not deported.
