We got a Tim Burchett letter in the mail this weekend. He's wasting his money here as we are not Burchett fans at all, but look at the language in this. He doesn't even pretend to care about people in his district who aren't MAGA. @thetnholler.bsky.social Let me know if you want the full PDF.

Climbed 300 feet total tonight!! 💪

Met this cat at Target earlier. I am pleased to report it was like petting a peach and not like petting other kinds of wrinkly anatomy.

I had never seen a hairless cat in person and expected to hate it, but I have changed my mind since it’s actually soft and not actually naked. 🤣🤣

Climbed outside for the first time today.

I was terrible at it, but I had so much fun!

Terribly, honestly. Climbing outside is so much harder than inside! But I had an absolute blast.

Well. I packed a bag so I guess I really am going outdoor climbing tomorrow. 😅

My act of resistance tomorrow is telling fourth and fifth graders at career day what five rights are preserved under the first amendment — one of which is freedom of the press.

And they’re all getting a notebook and pencil (and starbursts!) to practice journalism. 💪💪

I still need to square it and add the border, but this is so freaking funny. It’s one of my favorite quilt tops I’ve ever done. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

To celebrate I bought myself a new chalk bag. Looks how adorable this is.

I called back today to see if anybody answered during business hours. No, they did not. It went directly to voicemail, and here's what the 14-second voicemail message says as well as as screengrab of her "Women and Survivor Support" page from today. Live link: mace.house.gov/Survivors

This popped up in my Facebook memories today. It was Nana’s best coffee cup. It’s in my cabinet now, but I’d rather have my Nana back. Country grandmas are a treasure.

I feel the same way as Boo on this dark, rainy day. 🤣🤣

He’s literally asleep with his head under the cushion.

So, I’m home from the surgery center and chilling in my bed AND under the influence of the meds they gave me.

Friends, I just spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure out why the doctor wrote “sex” on the leg he operated on.

The thing about having a Great Dane whose afraid of the vet means it’s like wrestling an alligator when he needs his vaccines. He literally alligator rolls and it takes me, a muzzle, and two or three other people to do vet work for this 130lb scaredy cat.

This is Scout, who turns 10 in May. We’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old. She’s a crabby old lady now, but she loves her hairless puppies. She thinks my husband’s bestie is her actual human. Very soft ears and listens half the time. 10/10 dog.

Me, getting ready to go to the store ahead of the incoming ice they’re now forecasting for Knoxville.

Gotta get the bread, milk, and pop.

I got my dad a new wallet for Christmas, and I made some hilarious business cards to put inside it. The person who taught me basic graphic design skills clearly made a mistake because I use my powers for evil. 😂

@quesog.com subscribed me to a fat quarter subscription box for Christmas, but since it won’t start til after the first of the year, he gave me this. 😂😂😂

And this is why I’m married to him! 😂😂😂😂

Ignore the two in the middle, but my homemade espresso mocha cinnamon rolls are about to be spectacular this morning.

Merry Christmas! 🎄

This is my Nana. Her name was Alice, and she was “onry” as country people say. She loved Christmas and ice from Sonic. This photo is from 2013, and it sums up exactly who she was. She died in 2021, almost exactly a year after the liver cancer dx. I miss that old lady every. single. day.

My first day of the season with winter’s best friend: my sun lamp that is supposed to stave off seasonal depression. Note the weather out there.

Actual footage of me from the choir loft at church this morning as I made eye contact with one of my unruly children down in the cheap seats. 😂😂😂
