I'll never be able to work in a real office setting again because I can't subject other people to me jumping out of my seat and hollering "WHAT THE HELL?" when something I find in newspaper archives jumps out at me.
We got a Tim Burchett letter in the mail this weekend. He's wasting his money here as we are not Burchett fans at all, but look at the language in this. He doesn't even pretend to care about people in his district who aren't MAGA. @thetnholler.bsky.social Let me know if you want the full PDF.

Periodical reminder that the reason we all feel like everybody thinks we suck at everything we try to do is because of imposter syndrome and it’s probably not true.

I mean mostly that reminder is for me because whew it’s been a hard few days. 😭

I climbed 300 feet at the rock gym on Tuesday, 400 on Thursday, and I’m hoping for 500 today. So far, I’m still on track to get the mile by August 31!

Climbed 300 feet total tonight!! 💪

I'm trying vertical mile at the rock gym again this year. It's exactly what it sounds like -- climbing a total of 5,280 feet in the gym by August 31. Last year I failed miserably. Hoping for victory this time!

The new Tyler Childers album is so good, and I'm gonna need some official "On my Bitin' List" merch ASAP.

ATTN: If you’re one of the 1,000 FBI agents who reviewed the Epstein files, feel free to reach out to me via signal (in my bio). I’ll keep you anonymous- as I have the thousands of current and former federal workers who have sent me tips. Please share this widely. 🙏🏻

I'll say it over and over.

I do not believe in gate keeping.

I do not believe in pulling up the ladder.

I believe in kicking the wall down like the Kool-Aid man, and making room as I go for those who come next.

Just because it was hard for me, doesn't mean it has to be hard for anyone else.

BREAKING: A federal judge reversed National Institutes of Health's terminations of hundreds of critical research grants that were canceled because of their alleged connection to disfavored topics, including diversity, equity, inclusion, and gender identity.

This is a major win for public health.

As a millennial who has now been living in unprecedented times since the sixth grade, I do a lot of thinking about world events, what they mean, and what in our history got us to them.

Today, I've read about:
-- ICE handcuffing literal children
--Military parades
--No Kings protests

Sorry, friends. I am unable to work today until I fix this Spiderman beach hat. The elastic came loose. Even though we aren't going to the beach for another month, this is of utmost importance and MUST be done immediately.

Or at least that's the message I am currently getting from kid #3. 🪡🧵🕸️

Update: Nobody got motion sick, my youngest thought the bird show was boring, but my middle kid absolutely loved the rollercoasters she was tall enough to ride.
Today, we’re taking the kids to Dollywood for the first time ever. I have a sinking suspicion that my oldest will need some Dramamine and my middle kid will have to be pried off the coasters. Youngest is most likely to get carried off by an eagle while laughing like a maniac.

Thank you, Dear Ladies, for today's episode.
Suzie's hysterics were something!
Just noticed that Robert E Lee was suspended back in 2006 for some insurance fraud: law.justia.com/cases/south-...

My kids asked one too many questions yesterday & when they asked why Target has security cameras, the filter failed and I told them, “So Dateline has b-roll.”

They don’t know what that means, but it bought me a few seconds of peace.

Don’t follow me for parenting advice. I’m making it up as I go.

Not me nearly in tears at Joann’s. Since I started sewing a decade ago, Joann’s has been my “need some alone time” store.

This one is closing in 10 days. Now where do I wander when Target just ain’t gonna cut it? How will I feel the fabric before I buy it?

Met this cat at Target earlier. I am pleased to report it was like petting a peach and not like petting other kinds of wrinkly anatomy.

I had never seen a hairless cat in person and expected to hate it, but I have changed my mind since it’s actually soft and not actually naked. 🤣🤣

Want to go down an HCPD rabbit hole?

Look up the name "Allen Large."

The issues in that department are nowhere near new.

Climbed outside for the first time today.

I was terrible at it, but I had so much fun!
May 11, 2025 at 2:08 AM
Well. I packed a bag so I guess I really am going outdoor climbing tomorrow. 😅
May 10, 2025 at 1:51 AM
I know I said I wasn’t insane and wouldn’t dare climb outside, but my rock climbing friends invited me to go this Saturday, and I just might do it. 😅 I mean, I reserve the right to heckle from the bottom and only belay the others, but I’m really thinking about going.

My three year old referred to a restaurant as a “dinner store” earlier and all I can figure is he’s thinking on a plane we haven’t arrived at yet. 😂😂😂

My neighbor got a trampoline and I can't get over how safe those things are these days. It's got a net, a ladder to get in it, padded spring guards, etc.

The one I had when I was a kid had exposed rusty springs, no net, and we got on it by using a cinder block or a plastic lawn chair.
