I loved doing this episode but it was so hard to get through without breaking down and crying. There are a lot of things happening to my community and the loss of Rob and Michele Reiner is like losing an aunt and uncle. They will be sorely missed.

I loved doing this episode but it was so hard to get through without breaking down and crying. There are a lot of things happening to my community and the loss of Rob and Michele Reiner is like losing an aunt and uncle. They will be sorely missed.

This is why you rarely see the anti trans side going after Hunter Schafer or Kim Petras. They went on puberty blockers and transitioned as teens. They're massively successful and living happy lives. They don't want to highlight that.
The reason they're so focused on trans teens is that people who transition younger typically blend into society better. To the extent that they're willing to tolerate our existence in society at all, they'd rather we be easily identified by our appearance/voices/etc.
Cis people really have no idea how it feels to watch a regime hold a press conference to admit, on camera, the pogrom against trans people they've been waging for 11 months is not only real, but they're going to double down on genocide and try to wipe out all the children first.

Crazy how Trump is flailing, Epstein files are coming out, the economy is going to shit, and Republicans are defecting and the first thing his admin does is pivot to attacking trans people. It's all they know. Just distract everyone from what's important by attacking a vulnerable minority group.

Lot of glib and sarcastic takes on Trump's speech. But coupled with the vote for a trans health care felony law, it's the announcement of our physical genocide. It's easy to ignore our plight, we aren't that many. But when it's you, I want you to remember your apathy at our oppression and deaths.

I really hope the Senate kills the trans care felony bill. And the Medicaid HRT ban for adults likely to pass the House tomorrow. I really do. Not sure what else to say but call your senators. It's worked before.
