So I’ve finished the manuscript of How to Navigate your child or teen through to trauma recovery. It’s a 94,000 word book that means I need to really write a part 2. But I’m excited. I hope it will bring hope to many when it comes out! ❤️

Loved training day 4 of the 6 day course I’m running for the South Glos Violent reduction unit and sexual exploitation team. Love police and social care teams coming together to wrestle with reflections on trauma. It’s so lovely being in person and not online! Great coffee too!❤️

Can you DM me so we can collaborate and make our voices louder?? Child development theory should be a foundation on which all decisions around children are made. Play and creativity needs to be brought back in. TI training cannot continue to be over simplified.

It’s important when we look at defensive mechanisms and trauma symptoms to always remember how much courage it took for people to survive the trauma.
Let’s never pity people but always authentically show respect for them for surviving difficult and terrifying ordeals.
