Oh man, not again. I have seen people BBQ on the flats despite the rules. Which is irresponsible, but this keeps happening. I wonder if a dedicated safe BBQ area, like the Olympic Park has, could help prevent these wildfires in future.

Yesterday they collected around 50 bags, including empty bottles of spirits & terrifyingly, a machete!! Increasingly local residents are avoiding the eastern end of the Flats because of the antisocial behaviour & related litter. This local green space should be safe for everyone & clearly isn’t.
