I made this 7 1/2 years ago the last time there was a big DFL candidate realignment, but it feels simultaneously much more recent and lifetimes older.

Still going hours later. There seems to be a band, like a giant arch of red overhead, stretching from east to west horizons and tilting to the south. It's surrounded by the continuing green curtains. Remarkable.
