this reminds me of the period in american politics when pundits would demand that any black politician of note — really, any black person in politics with a national audience — “condemn farrakhan”
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro chides Zohran Mamdani for not condemning other people’s antisemitism:

“He left open far too much space for extremists to either use his words or for him to not condemn the words of extremists that said some blatantly antisemitic things.”
Shapiro rebukes Mamdani for failing to condemn ‘blatantly antisemitic’ extremists
The Pennsylvania governor told JI: ‘When supporters of yours say things that are blatantly antisemitic, you can't leave room for that to just sit there’

"The halftime show was boring."

Look, you may not be familiar with the genius of Kendrick Lamar and couldn't quite hear the lyrics and don't know the backstory and the symbolism went over your head, but trust me when I say you'll want to read an analysis of it and rewatch. A true masterpiece.

I tried for months to tell people not to vote for Trump over the genocide in Gaza. Wrote 2 articles. Yes, Biden & Democrats were complicit in the bloodshed but electing Trump wouldn't "punish" Biden or Harris, it would only make matters much worse for everyone. And here we are. Tragic.

Today, please remember that Dr. King was a man before his assassination made him a martyr.

A loving husband, father, son, and brother who centered the humanity of all people.

As we mark the MLK holiday, let's not forget his.

Remember, today especially, that MLK said America suffers not just from "the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people." Keep the faith. Keep up the fight.

-Dems bend over backwards to Netanyahu’s every whim carrying through with financing a genocide, Bibi wants Trump to win and it costs Dems the election.

-At the request of Netanyahu, the Tiktok Ban bill is Revived under a Dem President, closer tying it to Biden moreso
