So much of this suffering was preventable.

This is a wonderful critique of a recent decree to silence indigenous languages in educational settings in Nigeria, or as the author so aptly puts it, "On the Silencing of our Tongues." I wish the Lagos Review was here to add to the BLK Sky conversation.
