The whole definition of "HD" sliding every decade or so is so hard to keep up with.

I was talking to some friends who hit a wall when learning how to play an instrument and I think one of the most important things you can do when learning a new skill is to make it useful. Wanting to learn the harmonica just because is great starting point but to get it to stick you need something

Very recently lucked into an old DS and I forgot these things didn’t have analog sticks. Also I really do not enjoy Mario 64(hot take) but the joy of seeing it on the tiny screens somehow has not worn off. That really surprised me.

Road trip is the best implementation of the rogue like as the single player mode I’ve seen. It actually exposes some things about world of light that would’ve made it better. Like why don’t any of the stadiums minigames show up? That is the perfect place for them

My favorite thing about this game so far is just how earnestly absurd it is. What are these screenshots? It is the most slapstick cartoony game
Kirby Air Riders is legit and already one of my favorites from 2025. Easy to play but packed with so much depth and content, and modes like online City Trial are absurdly addicting. Imagine doubting Sakurai.

Thinking about how I haven’t enjoyed a vocal theme from a video since smash brothers brawl. It seems to be a really hard thing to get right. Words actually introduce there own kind of rhythm and a new way for the song to become clunky. Even harder if you want to do versions in different languages
