Yes he is. Got me an "Elbows Up" shirt a few months back. Made a point of wearing it on our podcast despite over 50% of our listeners being from the States.

I have heard tales of these things, though I have no first hand knowledge. As I was a teenager in the '80's, there are no pictures of me on the internet, doing these things, to prove otherwise.

What is happening would be as clear as day if you saw it in another country. No one abroad is confused; no one reading (accurate) history in the future will have any trouble understanding what is happening.
The ruling party wants to arrest members of the opposition party who are trying to stop them from rigging the mid-term elections.
