Bang on.
I feel like like this moment in the Lord of the Rings, when the darkness seemed complete, but the sun rose, and Gandalf arrived precisely when he meant to; the day was won by the free peoples of Middle Earth who came together against those that would try to bend their will.

I totally agree. I take the TTC all the time and the number of fare evaders I see is incredibly small.
Effort and resources expended to make it a better, more reliable service would serve the public much better.
transit riders really just want to have their bus or streetcar come on time and come more often, but all we get is POO 💩

yet another flashy distraction from the real issues facing transit that have a far greater cost impact on society as whole - underfunding, congestion, and unreliable service.
Have you seen Provincial Offences Officers, or P.O.O., on the TTC? 💩 Funny name aside, there is cause for concern - the TTC has taken harsher approaches to fare enforcement in the past few years.

What riders really need is less P.O.O. and more reliable, frequent, and affordable transit!

What is happening would be as clear as day if you saw it in another country. No one abroad is confused; no one reading (accurate) history in the future will have any trouble understanding what is happening.
The ruling party wants to arrest members of the opposition party who are trying to stop them from rigging the mid-term elections.

This is not something which happens in a democracy. MAGA is trying to create a one party dictatorship.
