Tuesday spin: Radiohead’s The Bends. This is the one where Radiohead actually became Radiohead. High & Dry, Fake Plastic Trees, Just, Sulk, every song is great. It doesn’t get as much credit these days because the albums that came after are all-timers, but it’s still awesome.

Tuesday spin: Radiohead’s The Bends. This is the one where Radiohead actually became Radiohead. High & Dry, Fake Plastic Trees, Just, Sulk, every song is great. It doesn’t get as much credit these days because the albums that came after are all-timers, but it’s still awesome.
This is probably more Alien RPG than any reasonable Alien RPG fan should have. With 2 more modules on the way once their revisions are made.

Tuesday spin: Radiohead’s In Rainbows. I’m not millennial enough for this one to be my favorite, but there are plenty of terrific songs on here. It’s almost like these guys are really good at making music!

Tuesday spin: Verve Remixed Vol 1. Out of print since the early 2000s, never thought I’d have a copy. Classic vocalists and remixers who 100% understood the assignment. Simply the best remix album ever. This whole series is fantastic, but this one is the one. The orange vinyl looks super cool, too.

Thursday spin: The Hives’ The Black And White Album (2024 Record Store Day edition). Been a while since I posted one of these! Fun, fun album, and I will reiterate that the concert I saw when they were touring for this album was the best live show I’ve ever seen. Cool looking vinyl, too.

Got to play some Spirit Island (fear victory on Brandenburg-Prussia level 2 with Many Minds and Starlight) and Lord of the Rings Duel for Middle Earth (I lost both games, but it’s still very good)

Thursday spin: Björk’s Homogenic. Probably her most varied album, with strings and her voice being only consistent things across the album. Not the first one you give someone wanting to get into her music, but easily one of her best. Shiny metallic ink on the sleeve makes photos difficult.
