I made my free turkey breast for a Hanukkah dinner with latka. Then turned the carcass in to turkey broth. Then used the broth & left over turkey to make pot pie ☺️

Latka tip to make the gluten free. Most latka recipes have flour or matzo meal. You can use potato starch instead. And if you collect the liquid you drain out of your potatoes & let it sit, you can pour off the liquid & use the potatoes own starch that settles in the bottom of the bowl.

You can’t deny cruelty is the point. Even if someone has $ on their EBT card, the gov shut down the system to even use any funds still in their accts. And now they are threatening stores who try to offer these same people a discount to help them not starve to death.

Since the government is now threatening to strip any store offering SNAP recipients a discount of the eligibility in the program, I want to see ALL restaurants to offer SNAP recipients discounts. Restaurants aren’t part of the program so it can’t be held over their heads as a threat.
