I know I've posted this at the old place, but there was a great great comic, Dick Capri, who opened for Englebert Humperdinck all over the world for 20 years. He finally quit, and when other comics asked him why he gave up such a plum gig, he'd say, "I ran out of compliments...." #AT40

After Thanksgiving 1976, I was holed up in my sophomore dorm room taking out from Tommy's because the cafeteria was closed and trying to get caught up for three finals, two Greek and one Latin. It did not go great. I had the "battery" report card: ACDC. That said, I didn't fear no reaper. #AT40
