Mahomes isn’t even that highly paid compared to some of these QBs now and honestly you could say the Chiefs mitigated a lot of the heavy investment at QB by drafting extremely well on defense for a while. Like a third of the league is paying similar money for lesser QBs and not drafting as well

Honestly the “big bowls” should not be playoff games. The playoffs should be the playoffs and let the orange/rose/cotton/sugar be separate. Like I’ve ever really thought that my blue devils would play for a natty but it’s fucked that we don’t get to play for the orange bowl
