Someone has to lead. This is literally how you kill a society, a country and a world order. It also kills moral for youth. Canada does not need to kill the middle class to be open for business. That is something the politicians right of centre have successfully sold you.

You have to admit for centre and centre left folks (65% of population) this is a pretty hard right turn from the Trudeau Libs. I would argue that Trudeau managed to govern for all Canadians until the anti tax psychos and a pandemic showed up. So, I guess I disagree.
