Sorry, I disagree that player development is exclusively about game experience. If that's the argument, we'll just have to agree to disagree. Minott didn't play last year because he was blocked by like 5 mediocre players who were all decidedly better than him. Also, he's clearly a good shooter now

Do you *really* believe that? I mean, part of the reason Minott has been effective is because he can space the floor, but he was a complete non-shooter coming out of the G League. It's partly why he fell! Finch and the coaching staff get *no* credit for that massive improvement?

I don't think it's quite fair to blame him for the misses but never give him credit for the hits. Anthony Edwards was the worst professional basketball player I'd ever seen before he turned things around; Jaden, Naz, NAW are big development wins. The Minott thing was weird, but more on Connelly imo
