They have trouble with mockery, goofiness, and fun.

That holds across just about every type of authoritarianism. They like being feared for cruelty. They hate being laughed at and humiliated.

I don't think we talk enough about the very fundamental and insidious role by EdTech consultants in the whole fascist project. And, the fact that administrators defer to them and dismiss or even punish educators that contest or question the AI in education paradigm is telling.
