This is like what was done when AP started, isn't it?

It sounded last year as if they'd be able to get everything sorted out, but not in time for last season/session. This is quite sad. #music #EasternMusicFestival

I would say they aren't wise.

The whole group is too scientistic; they read science fiction, but I don't think they read outside that literary genre. It's pretty clear in Sal Khan's new book. So I don't think they are grappling with ethics or epistemology either.

I have been writing a series of articles on whether CB is trying to take over financial aid(along with everything else education-related). Here's one: img1.wsimg.com/blobby/go/46...

Nooooo. Now I have more essays to write.

One of the strengths of the American system, which has historically led to entrepreneurship and creativity vis-à-vis other countries, has been our customary lack of early specialization.

I feel better knowing it was a digital cancellation. My book deals with physical papers, or the lack thereof.
bitsy15.bsky.social
Wait, you cancelled your subscription to a physical paper? One that still has a crossword? You know that's what my new book is about, right? a.co/d/0u3pp4f

I'm delighted to announce the release of my poetry collection, No Paper Today!

Inspired by missed newspapers and correspondence with the WSJ delivery desk, these poems reflect on routine, disruption, and the value of print. Buy here: www.amazon.com/dp/B0FNLPP3VQ

Technology doesn’t always prevent mistakes; it can magnify them. One wrong click brought 63 writers together — and I’m honored to be one of them.
📖 Our book, TV-63, is out now.

Are you doing ModPo? Whitmanians v. Dickinsonians?

Glad that at least one politician is trying to do the right thing when it comes to Ukrainian children. 🇺🇦

Thousands of Ukrainian children have been abducted by Russia since Putin’s invasion.

I stood with President Zelenskyy today at the UN to focus the world's attention on these horrific war crimes — and to strengthen our international efforts to bring these children home.

The result isn’t just a curiosity — it’s a collection of powerful, high-quality writing from established and emerging voices. Order here: www.amazon.com/dp/B0FRZHG82... #writingcommunity

I wish the Little Free by me looked like that. It tends to be overflowing with things I don't want to read. I try to drop off better choices when I walk that way.

Y'all can keep ignoring me, but the science keeps coming in the same direction. For those thinking it's just a cold, remember that anecdote is not data, and that the elephant you thought was getting fat two years ago now has a baby. Some conclusions take time.

The framing is a bit weird, scientists are "rethinking", etc. Many of the most credible experts disputed the silly "immunity debt" argument and put forward the immunity *damage* argument from the get-go.

We're all sick more and it's because of COVID.
Great explainer on how a COVID infection hurts our immune system, so we're more sick, or sick more with other illnesses after a COVID infection.

The CDC quietly neutered the best Covid data on the planet yesterday. ED data visualization has been stripped of age stratification, and state-by-state trends.

ED data has been far better for state by state trends than WW. Poof.

I have been working on pieces about the company. Here are two from last year: bit.ly/4gyawZB and bit.ly/40MBgkk. Currently examining other non-FAFSA things.

Reminder: At the start of his legal career, RFK Jr. failed the bar, was forced out as a D.A., and got arrested for heroin. Without the Kennedy name, that story ends there.
