Not that I think a human being was responsible for the decision.

But if Youtube is going to make decisions in at least two levels of moderation with nothing but AI, it seems like they ought to be treated as responsible for that output.

Which means I would have flown under the radar entirely if I had used this non-copyrighted music but did *not* link back to the source.

Using it illegally would be fine.

Even *implying* that there is anything wrong with how we do copyright is the violation.

My video that got a copyright warning and takedown a few weeks ago lost its appeal.

To refresh your memory, its crime was that the Creative Commons licensed music that appeared in it, legally used and correctly attributed, was from a website called "Breaking Copyright."

And that sounds scary.
