I find it hard to pinpoint. It is a toss up in my mind between SCOTUS and congress. I suspect the origionalists on the supreme court will eventually revolt against their loss of coequal branch status once Trump decides he doesn't need to follow even their rulings or enforce them.

A friend of mine and I were discussing the fact that every once in awhile we think back over things that we regret having done or said. I wonder what causes that? Why can't we just move on and ignore it?

It is admittedly the first word that came to mind. Sarah is right. It could be replaced by so many other aspersions such as Hopeful, Trusted, Promising... Etc.

Normally I would ask anyone questioning an important appointment to give a reasonable period of time, typically commemorate with the gravitas of the position, and then reflect on their critique. In your case, I have to wonder if you have been in a coma since February.
