The Neil Gaiman exposé is truly harrowing to read. He relished in degrading women in private while purporting to be an ally to women in public. It's crushing as a longtime fan to see the monster he really is. #BookSky

My job provides us breakfast and lunch everyday, I'm hybrid so I didn't have to go to the office today but I simply didn't want to cook or spend money so I went in just to eat. I was back home at 12:45PM. Eat the rich.

DOGE has 50 employees and expects 100 next week. Operating out of SpaceX offices and have "begun agency reviews"

If I'm a federal manager and a non-govt / non-transition / non-FACA group calls, what authority do they have to tell me to talk to them?

so far, seems like the first few victims are black folks who've lived in altadena for several generations and were trying so hard to hold onto their homes that they were willing to fight off the flames by themselves. man, they are so familiar to me. www.nytimes.com/2025/01/09/u...
Who Are the Victims of the Los Angeles Fires?
At least five people died in fires raging across Los Angeles. Several of them lived near each other in the ravaged Altadena neighborhood.

Happy Friday Skyfam🥰

Today’s exercise is to offer “2 kind words”:

1. DM a moot(s) you haven’t spoken to in awhile and affirm them

2. Look in the mirror and affirm yourself

The world is dark right now and it’s up to us to brighten it one word at a time. Go shine bright🤍

Pam Bondi’s been a punchline during the impeachment trial. But her role speaks to something important.
The shamelessness is the point.

Pam Bondi would be more dangerous than Gaetz as AG. She knows the system, and she'll know how to abuse it for Trump.
She’s not a sex offender, and she’s smarter, but she’s a true believer without scruple. Awful rather than humiliatingly awful.

Thought for the day: A friend of mine who (like me) is a middle-aged white Jewish guy and lawyer who enjoys old school rap has come up with what I think is a great solution for how people of our background should handle the "n" word as a lyric.

Just substitute "lawyer". It works in rhyme & meter.
