Idk what people are talking about The Godfather Part II is not at all that great. I feel like the villain origin story in the first movie is complete enough, and once you get into part 2 they don't have a solid basis to keep going. But I also haven't read the book. It's all just sad.

It's so sad and scary to see what people in Minneapolis are going through, but it's business as usual in this suburb I live in. Once again having a Parasite moment. Haven't seen any ICE presence at all. Meanwhile my coworkers neighborhoods are being raided daily. The red lining is working.

Lol, this is so weird. I was surprised that the book actually included this diversity, but overall I think the focus is on his autism. The show might've leaned into the tiger mom trope a bit vs the books, but I think it also goes out of the way to say the pressure to represent isn't fair.
So from my understanding, the person is saying that Heated Rivalry plays into Asian stereotypes and not actually great representation, but instead facilitating harmful stereotypes. #bbmidnightsecret
