Autism didn’t make them do it. Mental illness didn’t, either. This personal piece from The Big Picture cuts through the excuses and names the real issue: some people are just hateful, and we need to stop giving them cover.
Neither Neurodivergence Nor Mental Illness Made Them Bigots—They're Just Awful People
It's hard to admit your heroes are jerks, but the mentally ill and neurodivergent shouldn't be collateral damage.

Marriage is Marriage. You form a union with someone you can cohabitate with, and you pledge to be with them. That's a traditional marriage. It doesn't matter what sex the person you want to spend your life with is. And it's not the Government's business

Nathalie Provost survived the Polytechnique massacre — and has spent every day since fighting to strengthen gun control.

She knows: guns designed to kill people don’t belong on our streets.

He adds, after dismissing claims about a meeting, “check your sources before you write things like that”

This is the first video I've seen where you can actually see and hear CTV News’ Judy Trinh trying to ask a question (0:32sec) and Poilievre calling her a protester. Pierre won't get a security clearance because he doesn't "want to be muzzled" yet he muzzles the press constantly. #elxn45
This is so messed up. If he’s pulling this sh— now, imagine what it would be like with him in control?

Full blown st*te media. No exaggeration. This paired with his obsession with defunding our public broadcaster is terrifying.

When door knocking in Cowichan-Malahat-Langford, there are people voting Liberal for the 1st time. The Liberals are dedicated to: individual freedom, responsibility and human dignity in a framework of a just society, and political freedom in the framework of meaningful participation by all persons.
The builder! I've volunteered and have donated to the campaign.

I urge all Canadians to do the same if they are able.

Mark Carney is the prime minister I have been looking for my entire voting life. And, in honesty, this will be the first time I have ever voted Liberal.

An important moment in the campaign. We have seen how the government down south has treated women and other folks who have been marginalized and discriminated against - we DO NOT want current American politics here in Canada (or anywhere for that matter!).
