I just saw three teen girls huddled in the snack aisle of the grocery store, consulting with ChatGPT over voice on how many bags of chips they need to buy for an event.

...I'm gonna need to add more rum to my egg nog.

The wikipedia for almost every timeless Christmas movie contains 'was a moderate box office hit on release in the United States.'.

What if I bought The THEA1200 just to emulate The Prevue Channel?

The real shame of Christmas not being in Japan what it is in the West is that you don't get a lot of options for Anime Christmas Ornaments.

Why is 'living room' two words but 'bedroom' is one word?

"You daughter could be Fujoshing these Academic Heroes Mitochondria and Backyougo on an internet server RIGHT NOW."
I'm calling it, six months from now republicans will be citing Fujoshing as the new moral panic and trump will drop the word in a speech (pronounced incorrectly)

Posting about your LAN parties on Reddit get you some replies that underline that there really is a growing loneliness epidemic out there.

Maybe instead of letting tech isolate you into just doom scrolling on the couch, you round up some people for a Mario Kart night?

In an era of so many replica controllers and USB and BT and everything else. How has no one cloned or even adapted the Namco NeGcon? Surely it's patents are long expired now?

Is life really complete without a PC port of 1995's Wipeout, running at 4K, while Atom Bomb by Fluke blares out the surround speakers?

I have an extra Steam key for Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered. I've so far failed to give it away. If anyone wants it, first person to reply can have the key.

My understanding is that most dubbing is done to expand the size of an audience that something can reach, because many people prefer not to read subtitles.

...I don't see this bizarrely flat AI dub expanding the audience...
The only thing less human than these AI dub performances is the decision to sign off on them

A company this big can pay human actors a decent wage, not produce slop that intentionally removes the human element.
