I’ll acknowledge it’s not really possible to factcheck these anecdotes. But they fit with the broader vibe I see everywhere. Everyday that folks wake up and hear about the latest cruel and/or illegal thing ICE did, the cities get angrier and more people move from bystander to activist.

Holy moly I don't think any of these officers knew how to de-escalate. Grabbing a protester who is just standing there with a megaphone is absolutely insane. And then shooting another in the face with a rubber bullet at point blank range and then dragging them across the concrete? Vile
