The firings "appeared to violate federal law, which requires Congress to receive 30 days’ notice of intent to fire the inspectors general."

Judge Tanya Chutkan granted Jack Smith's motion to dismiss his appeal in the classified documents case against Donald Trump (without prejudice so he can refile when Donald leaves office).
