Oh, hrm. 3. I try to stick as close to the real lore and personalities as I can, have the story books and encyclopedias, but I'm not perfect and you need *some* room to bend things if you want to write your own characters and scenarios.

let's go with a scale from 1-10, where 1 is "i only acknowledge what's explicitly confirmed to exist in-game", 5 is "i fill in empty gaps but don't rewrite things" and 10 is "i have rewritten the entire setting"
