I noticed something very strange while out driving today: I did not see any American flags hanging outside people's homes. Not a single one. Perhaps I missed some but, we drove 50 miles & I'm surprised by the lack of usual July 4th volume. Lots of cook outs, but no flags out front. Very odd.
