Music, Film, Travel, Motorbikes, Hibernian … and did I mention music?
Caught the King Crimson bug going round really bad. This time it's 'Islands' ...

Curse your Jedi mind tricks… you totally influenced me, didn’t you? @hungryforsound.bsky.social Must admit, I really like the new 2025 mix of this as well. #KingCrimson

What a band, what an album, and what a fucking amazingly hypnotic closer the track 'Endsong' is.

Not played this in a long time, yes I do love some Hip Hop.
Pete Rock & CL Smooth 'Mecca and The Soul Brothers'

They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.) puts a huge smile on my face every time I hear it, such an amazing track. Magnificent!🎧 #nowplaying #vinyl

When being progressive meant exactly that. A band grabbing everything in sight, the melodic genius of The Beatles, folk shimmer of Simon & Garfunkel, the arrangements of the Mothers & Zappa, jazz of Coltrane, even full blown classical grandeur.
Yes, I’m talking about Yes 'Close To The Edge' #Vinyl

Didn't help being hit by my auld dear’s pal’s son outside the Sighthill terminus as a bairn, in fairness, probably wasn’t part of any recommended long term spinal care programme. Body’s basically a patchwork of childhood mishaps.
Mate regarding yer heels, what you need is a pair of Kanye West boots.

Sloan 'Navy Blues' think power pop, The Beatles, classic rock, clean guitar interplay, hooks, vocal harmonies...blah, blah, blah.🇨🇦

Its bloody great🔥 #nowplaying🎧

The greatest living songwriter... according to me.

Rosalia Lux sounds like Mahler composing in the same room as Björk, Kate Bush, & Maria Callas. The only modern album that’s blended a genre into popular music the lsat 20 year as successfully for me is Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, with its fusion of jazz.

I just listened to this for the first time, and all I can say is that I’ll definitely be coming back to it. Say what you will, but this young artist has created a truly beautiful piece of work. This album is going to be a real gateway into classical music for a whole new generation of listeners.💚

Tangerine Dream’s Force Majeure is pure cinematic momentum, epic builds, glowing analog tones, & melodies that feel like sunrise on another planet. Welcome to the TD machine!

Sack The Board 😂 Poor managers just bought it.

His guitar playing style is like nothing else out there, poor guy suffered three strokes about 15 years ago. Deserves way more attention than he gets. Had this on and the debut a few weeks ago. #influenced also✊

This is the benchmark in album production I measure everything against. Ferry’s unmistakable croon and Manzanera’s majestic guitar work are nothing short of perfection.

Roxy Music Flesh & Blood

Sleek, romantic, & beautifully airy. Flesh and Blood trades art rock edge for glossy elegance. Not as daring as early Roxy, but Ferry’s velvet melancholy & the lush production make it such a smooth listen. 😎 #nowplaying

A stunning debut, fabulous guitar work. A band unfortunately remembered for a daft haircut in the UK.

Mesmerising, still to this day.

Bryan Ferry 'Mamouna' the production on this is pure velvet.

Watched this last night as I waved goodbye to my last boxes of vinyl. Not getting rid of anymore, I'm happy with what I've got now.

Tales From Topographic Oceans sounds like five prog monks trying to summon God, only to realise halfway through side two that he’s blocked them. Seriously though, I love every single note on this album. #nowplaying 🎧
