Pendant World by Balmorhea is a serene, luminous journey through sound, delicate pianos, subtle electronics, & spacious textures create a world both intimate and vast. It’s quiet beauty in motion. #nowplaying
Their last album came out about ten years ago not even sure if they’re still going, to be honest. I saw them twice back in 2009, first at Donington Festival and then at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on the Second Coming tour. It wasn’t quite the spiritual experience of ’89, but still a great show.
Talking with my wife over dinner about our favourite gigs, this one’s near the top for me. 1989, The Venue in Edinburgh. I remember walking out at the end, drenched in sweat, into the cold night, with War Pigs still echoing in my head. Pure magic.

Something really likeable about Eddie Van Halens lad Wolfgang, he always comes across as extremely humble in interviews. Anyway this is a fun listen. Musically it reminds me somewhere along the lines of Kings X/ Foo Fighters. He's certainly exteremly talented.

Ive been taken off the Sunday, so not all bad. It means I get to watch Hearts go 8 points clear & I take a step closer to my bet of eating my favourite shoes.😂
Ozric Tentacles providing some headphone candy while I cook the dinner..🎧
I’ve always been drawn to music that dares to be different and to artists who swim against the tide, so when I first heard the hypnotic “Kodomotachi,” I was completely spellbound.

Susumo Yokota another artist who left us too soon. #nowplaying 🎧
A childhood favourite.
One of my prized booked possessions.
It's been added to my playing pile. I'll let you know if I like it.
Headphones at the ready. Not heard that one, you've convinced me to give it a go. Think I've got it kicking around somewhere on CD, FLAC, Vinyl, 8 track, Laserdisc, mini disc, Betamax, VHS, Blu-ray, DVD...

Been #influenced this week that’s for sure, too much talk (or maybe not enough) around this one. Rush ‘Power Windows’ (1985, Tidal). One of those with copies on LP, cassette and CD (2) 😎👌 Like every Rush album it seems (divides opinion), but only one matters, and its feckin excellent 👍
Got Rush Signals on in the car.
I’m like John Wesley Harden on my phones Bluetooth trigger😁 Wife’s no happy😆

Prog. Synth peak-Geddy’s synths stretch, Alex’s guitar a neon light & Neil drives it all. Evolved gracefully while exploring frontiers w/o losing their soul. The future was here, eh'

Fleet Foxes debut. Perfection.
Good morning! Crisp air, golden light, and Ian Anderson’s flute weaving through it all, nothing fits an autumn morning better.

Love it when The Orb dive deep into that ambient, Vangelis-style chill, ‘Under The Bed’ is absolutely gorgeous, and the closing track Kharon (named after Pluto’s moon) with Roger Eno’s sparse piano is pure bliss. #NowPlaying 🎧
I've scanned the wife's CD pile and she only has the one called 'Recovering The Satellites'...A quick scan of the songs titles shows no track called 'Mr Jones'.
My wife likes them, she always has the decency to warn me if she puts them on. Even this gif is giving me the fear.😳😂
